Helping You Build Strong Bones

While studying to become a yoga teacher, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and osteopenia.  I was shocked, that with my active lifestyle and daily yoga practice, I would end up with porous bones. I sat with this for a bit, and changed my focus to learning all I could about how yoga can help increase bone density, muscle strength and balance by increasing the weight bearing aspect of yoga. Thus, Good Bones Yoga with Meg was born. Please join me and let me help you build strong bones.

 One-on-one session

"Meg takes the time to communicate with her students about their hopes and vision for their practice.  She uses that information to create thoughtful practices and to appropriately support the individual student.  Her classes leave me feeling centered and grounded."

Katie T.

"I have osteoporosis and read so much on the subject, what to eat/not eat, exercises to do/not do.  Then came Meg and her healthy bones yoga.  She is a natural.  The class was so informative.  What poses to do, how to get the most out of each pose, and how long to hold it.  She doesn't just teach it, she lives it, loves it, and thankfully shares her knowledge. I look forward to more classes."

I enjoyed Meg's bone density yoga class. Meg teaches very sensitivity and kindly. I can learn a lot from her about osteoporosis and the possibilities of yoga to build bone mass. Thank you, dear Meg.

Good Bones Yoga with Meg has brought such a gift to my yoga practice. I look forward to our weekly zooms as one of the highlights of my week. Meg is a wonderful teacher and her style of yoga is just what I was looking for - the perfect mix of challenge and restore. I like being pushed a bit and encouraged to strive by holding poses or completing that rep one more time. But by the end of class I'm always relaxed and nourished - ready to start my day. And Meg is so knowledgeable about bone density and the challenges that arise when this is compromised. I always feel seen and protected, even over Zoom. If you're looking to enhance your practice, you can't go wrong with these hour-long Zoom classes.
